Why this conversation

The grid is changing faster than the tools we plan it with.

Pioneer will be hosting the Edge of Grid Stability, a panel event aimed at sharing cutting-edge thinking in dynamic stability, FACTS devices and powering data centers — as well as comprehensive system analysis — required to reshape the renewables- and data center-forward grid of 2035.

The discussion will bring together system planning, design, and procurement SMEs from a major utility, power engineering leaders, and one of the major OEMs — the people actually doing this work — to discuss the latest innovations emerging on the global stage.

Grid challenges today and tomorrow — where the system is most at risk and what the studies are showing, plus discussion on action plans utilities and OEMs can do to accelerate and prepare.

System Studies & Planning

System studies and planning best practices — how leading utilities are scoping, sequencing, and acting on study findings.

What cutting edge practices are being implemented across the global landscape to understand full-system intricacies and ideal FACTS placement as quickly as possible

Cases like ARENA (Australia), Denmark, etc

FACTS & Dynamic Grid Support

FACTS/Dynamic Grid Support device types and challenges they solve.

Procurement & Supply

Long-lead procurement and new sourcing strategies. — supply chain and demand constraints, early commitment models, and what utilities can do now.
